How to arrest and prosecute
The Second edition of my book “How to arrest and prosecute” has been updated to serve as a brief and handy day-to-day guide for criminal practice. It is a comprehensive law book decorated with up-to-date case law. How a culprit is arrested and then prosecuted till his acquittal or conviction, by a competent court is shown step by stepunder different chapters and synopsis.
The book in hand serves as a guide book for lawyers conducting criminal trial, especially young lawyers. It provides information vital to successful criminal law practitioners and crime investigators. It is equipped with short headnotes which will be helpful for the readers to find out relevant case law within a short span of time.
If this book reached the satisfactory level of all the concerned, it only become possible due to the valuable assistance of my son, Usama Mohtashim Khan. I wanted to dedicate this book to all the Lawyers who were my jail mates in Camp Jail Lahore and District Jail Sahiwal;who were struggling for the Restoration of Judiciary. Their valiant efforts are the source of motivation and inspiration to always struggle for the rule of law and to never bow before dictators.
Though every effort has been made to minimize errors while incorporating all important decisions of Superior Courts of Pakistan and India, published in all the Law Journals of Pakistan & India, yet if any case is missed or any error is noted by the readers, it will be highly appreciated if pointed out to enable Improvement in future editions.
